The Graduate Studies Diploma in Golf Operations Management
[See list of courses below]

The Graduate Studies Diploma in Golf Operations Management program is specifically designed for individuals interested in pursuing a management career in the golf industry. The program is comprised of 10 golf management courses offered in a collaborative environment entirely online.

Upon completing the program, students will obtain a Graduate Studies Diploma in Golf Operations Management from the GMIC and a Certificate of Completion in Golf Operations from Wilfrid Laurier University.

You are free to take individual courses or take all 10 to satisfy the requirements of the program. The sequence of courses is flexible.  Our proprietary on-line education model provides a rich and flexible environment to learn. Courses engage all participants by using leading edge content and multimedia functionality.

Each course involves a weekly live session where participants from all over Canada and the world, together with the expert professor, collaborate to develop understanding and promote ideas.

There are 8 weekly sessions per course (except Golf Club Governance- 6 sessions). Each course will be evaluated on the basis of experiential assignments and/or tests, which ground your knowledge in the subject area. Work can be completed with the flexibility to satisfy work and family commitments. Some courses will be more involved than others.

The entire program can be completed in a approximately 1 year (we offer two courses every 10 weeks), although you can take as long as you need. There are opportunities for exemption based on previous academic work and some courses can be completed independently.

We trust that you will find our unique on-line courses to be both educational and enjoyable.
